During the period from July 1st (Monday) to September 30th (Monday) 2024, the visiting hours and capacity for visiting the interior of Phoenix Hall will be changed as part of our summer measures.

Due to the fact that many visitors have experienced health issues caused by the summer heat in recent years, we have decided to implement these summer measures. Please understand that there may be longer waiting times due to reduced capacity and fewer visiting sessions.

The changes are as follows:

〇 Visiting the Interior of Phoenix Hall - Summer Measures
Period: July 1st (Monday) to September 30th (Monday) 2024
Capacity: Reduced from the previous 50-person capacity to 30-person capacity
Time: Suspension of visiting sessions at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30, and 15:30

〇 Guidelines for Waiting during Summer Visits to the Interior of Phoenix Hall
There may be waiting times of up to approximately 1 hour on weekdays and up to approximately 2 hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
During the waiting period, you are welcome to spend time inside the air-conditioned Museum Hoshokan or, if you have a Phoenix Hall interior viewing ticket, you can re-enter the premises, so you may also spend your waiting time outside the premises.
Please gather at the meeting point well in advance, at least five minutes before the start of the visiting time.
