Due to cultural property survey work, the Tobira-e Room (Door Paintings Room) within the Hoshokan Museum will be closed for the entire day from uesday, Sep 1 to Friday, Sep 11, 2026.
(The Tobira-e Room is a gallery space dedicated to recreating the original interior colors and door paintings of the Phoenix Hall as they appeared at the time of its founding.)

* Please be advised that work will be suspended on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, and the the Tobira-e Room (Door Paintings Room) is scheduled to be open to the public.
